About Me

Hi! My name is Whoong Zi Wei and I am a student from Taylor’s College currently studying in Foundation in Computing. After being exposed to programming in my foundation, I have started to develop a genuine interest in software programming, and I am eagerly excited to discover more interesting concepts in this field to further enlighten myself. My career goal would be either to become a web developer or a software engineer.

During my semester break back in December, 2020, I actually created a mini E-Portfolio for myself. As I had just completed two modules, namely Web Programming and Introduction to Algorithm, I wanted to utilize what I have learned and therefore created this website. The original idea of this website was to showcase the projects that I have done so far in the aforementioned modules, thus the page FIC E-portfolio exist here despite not being a necessity to be included from the assignment brief.

After finding out that my CCTS module actually had an assignment requiring me to create an E-Portfolio, I immediately came back to this website and added new pages that showcases my CCTS assignments and my personal reflections on them. I'm quite proud of what this website has turned out to be in the end, albeit the design looks a bit too simple due to my lack of aesthetic senses (but at least it's in dark mode, which is what I wanted!). However, the process of making this website has reaffirmed my decision to study computing and that is something that not many young students out there can say the same as most students would often still be undecided regarding their study paths even after their Pre-University studies.
